Patrick Griffin was born in Long Island, New York and received his B.A. in Communications from Elon University in 2004.  Currently an M.F.A. Candidate in the Savannah College of Art and Design’s Film & Television program, Patrick has primarily focused his energies towards producing and editing.  During his time at SCAD he has produced a number of films including “The Bottom,” which was an official selection at the Savannah Film Festival and the Sarasota Film Festival - among others. In addition to producing “COVERAGE,” Patrick co-produced the Savannah College of Art and Design’s 2007 entry for the Coca-Cola Refreshing Filmmaker’s Award and was recently named one of MTVu’s Top 25 Filmmakers on Campus.  Currently, Patrick is finishing up a short film he co-wrote and directed entitled “Le Paradis de L’Imbecile,” in addition to co-producing and editing an experimental western entitled “The Self Conspiracy.”
